Here's the reason why Trish Regan left CNBC for Bloomberg: Humpback whales. While Regan was work over at CNBC, she did in-depth stories on pot plants, over at Bloomberg, she gets to swim with humpback whales with Richard Branson. Sure, of course this is no where near the entire story of why Regan left CNBC, but you've got to say going out on Branson's yacht ain't a bad way to work as a business reporter and beats getting a contact high when you're touring a indoor marijuana operation in California. Kathy Ireland of Sports Illustrated swimsuit fame talks about her billion dollar retail empire, Kathy Ireland World Wide, on Bloomberg with Trish Regan. Ireland's company started out selling socks and then t-shirts and then dresses, and went on from there. It's grown so much it now rivals Martha Stewart, selling everything a women with extra money would ever need, like this fur coat. Hopefully she doesn't get entangled in some crazy insider trading scandal like Martha. Kathy, don't buy any risky stocks that even resemble Imclone. And no, she wasn't wearing a wet see through swimsuit during the interview

I Guess Dick Bove’s Beach House in Spain is On Hold

About a month ago, ubiquitous banking analyst (media shy) Dick Bove told Bloomberg's Trish Regan that buying Morgan Stanley's stock will enable you to buy that house on the coast of Spain you've always dreamed about. Well, since Bove made that call the stock has tumbled, going from around $20 a share to $16, a nice 25% drop. This is what Bove said:
“I think Morgan Stanley will allow you to buy that house on the coast of Spain. I think that stock is so cheap right now, it’s overwhelming. It should be bought and bought very aggressively, right now.”
