But I think what people want are not drastic changes to our capitalistic system, but just higher wages for those working hard in tough jobs. Do some executives at the very top really deserve millions upon millions of dollars? Maybe they can make $30 million instead of $50?
Especially when you look at some of the decisions these top executives make – see the financial disaster for instance where the banks were bailed out. Some of those bailed out banks still gave out large bonuses to executives. The rich 1% doesn’t make the best decisions sometimes and don’t suffer the repercussions of those poor decisions. Instead, they get stock options and large bonuses.
