Jon Stewart always seems to nail it, especially in regards to issues related to Wall Street. As Jamie Dimon, the most beloved banker of all time. strode up to speak to all the Senators, everyone wondered what kind of reception he’d get. Would he be attacked for the loss of $2 billion on a hedged trade/bet? Would the JP Morgan CEO start to sweat under a series of tough questions about how that money could have been used for loans or for those facing foreclosure? Well, Jamie Dimon more or less coasted along during the hearing as the Senators lined up to applaud him for his “banking” skills.
“You’ve got a lot of fire power and you’re just huge.”
And there was even more ass kissing by more Senators.
“I had ten billion dollars the other day now all I see is this fuc#$%# highway.”
