iPad Trademark Worth $2 Billion in China
Apple agreed in 2009 to pay Chinese computer-display maker Proview about $55,000 for the iPad trademark in a number of countries. But Proview is still claiming ownership of the trademark in China, Ian Sherr reports at the Wall Street Journal.

Hell yeah they’re trying to claim ownership again. Who wouldn’t when they see how many iPads are flying off the shelves and the lines around the block at Apple stores. Some are saying the iPad trademark is worth over $2 billion. Whoever signed over the iPad trademark name to Apple for a paltry sum of $55K I’m guessing is working in Siberia right now shoveling snow.
