Occupy Wall Street protesters shut down the set of Law & Order SVU, who were setting up their own sort of Zuccotti Park, with a library and a kitchen and even catered food, for an upcoming show. However, it appears the actors and maybe even some of the extras were staying over at the W Hotel rather than in the tents. You don’t expect an actor to completely immerse themselves into the scene for a TV show, do you? A movie perhaps but not for just TV. There’s some classic lines from some of the protesters as they leave the made for TV encampment:

It was hard to distinguish between the real cops asking the real protesters to leave and the extras posing as cops: “Are those real or fake cops?”

And then this line to the garbage men assigned with cleaning up the fake park after it was shut down: “Sir, are you guys doing the fake clean up of the fake park?”
