Zillow, the online real estate portal, had their IPO today. The stock was priced at $20 a share, trading under the ticker, ‘Z’, and proceeded to jump up to $60 a share before falling quickly down to around $32 a share at the close. Wow. Just Wow. The stock actually opened at $57 a share, that’s a double or a 200% gain on the open, give or take. Happy days for those who got in on the IPO.

This was a quick window though to grab the 200% gain, as the stock stood at $60 a share at the open for about 5 minutes, before coasting down to around $43 a share, and then down to the $32 range for most of the day. It were those investors who got in at the $20 price who won, once again.
