For Charles Ferguson, reforming wall street all comes down to compensation, as in ‘eating your own dog food type of compensation’. What does this mean? Traders would be compensated by receiving compensation in exactly what they create, even if it’s those cleverly packaged tranches of sub-prime mortgages, for example.

Ferguson, director of “Inside Job,” proposes a strategy to reform the compensation structure of top players in the financial services industry. He explains that rather than capping the salaries of top executives, he would regulate the compensation of any person capable of taking major risks. Take a look.
